Hi there! I am Floral Layne, Danica Layne Stählin, an artist who discovered the joy of painting while studying in Sydney, Australia. What began as a personal passion transformed into a divine calling from my Heavenly Father.
Encouraged by friends and family, I embarked on a journey to merge my love for art with a higher purpose. Floral Layne Ministry was born—a visual testament of my faith, hope, and love of Jesus.

I grew up in the sunny state of California, surrounded by my goofy dad, most amazing mom, and brother who was my best friend. Growing up in my family the journey was not always easy. But amidst our story, my parents chose to shower my brother and I with the unwavering love of Jesus. They aimed to be the best parents they could, navigating the challenges with faith and resilience. It's in those experiences that I learned the true meaning of unconditional love.

Throughout my childhood and my family's story, I discovered a profound connection with Jesus. He became the focal point of my life, the source of everything I wanted and needed. I fell in love with living for Jesus, the ocean, nature, coffee, and chasing after the purpose God has created me for. Oh, and about my family, we're all certified coffee lovers. My brother is the best barista in Boise, Idaho—coffee literally runs in our veins!
As I ventured into Bible leadership college after high school, ready for an adventure of a lifetime, another chapter of my story unfolded. In the midst of pursuing my calling, I crossed paths with my husband. His heart for Jesus, combined with his rare character and immense kindness, captivated me completely. Our love story unfolded over shared coffee dates in Sydney, where he also served as a barista. Now we live in Switzerland, we are that one couple walking the streets in slippers, cozy coats, with a coffee cup in our hand.

Today, we are both actively involved in full-time ministry. My husband holds a professional position as the Youth and Kids Pastor, while I contribute as a volunteer. His leadership and my voluntary efforts complement each other, allowing us to leverage our strengths as we wholeheartedly pursue God's heart in all aspects of our lives. Floral Layne is deeply cherished by us, embodying a purpose that we are convinced aligns with God's calling for our journey as well.
Creativity in Him
Discovering God's creativity in His creation is truly special. Paddling in the ocean, witnessing the unique waves, and exploring mountains with perfectly placed details are awe-inspiring. Nature's finest details, from flowers on the street to the simplicity of a coffee moment, reflect God's beauty. His creation speaks, inspiring our own creativity.
If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. If I give all I possess to the poor and surrender my body to the flames, but have not love, I gain nothing. Love is patient, love is kind.
